Chronicle visits Western Avenue Studios
Glass Ingot moves into Western Ave StudiosJanuary 1, 2010 The Glass Ingot is opening new studio space at the Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, MA. Papers were signed to lease studio space in the old brick mill building on Western Avenue. The studio is on the fourth floor, #423. The month of January has been spent fixing up the space with paint and elbow grease. A new work bench has also been fabricated and moved in. The studio will be featuring lampwork glass and digital art of Bruce Wood .The goal is to be open for the "First Saturday" event in February.
Western Avenue Studios "More than 180 Working Artists - 2 buildings, six floors and 143 studios filled with artists working in all disciplines, media and styles. The studios are located in a brick mill building at 122 Western Avenue in Lowell, Massachusetts, near the heart of downtown"
